Minnie and Oscar are seeing three groups of clients today. They will be heading into two homes and one Vet clinic. At Canine Comprehension we have a routine that the dogs go through to make sure they are neat, clean and tidy before every interaction.

It is important to remember that Animal Assisted Therapy dogs are not simply pets brought from one home into another. A great deal of time is put into making sure procedures are in place to provide a professional, clean and safe service to our students.
Sometimes the hardest part is keeping the dogs clean between jobs. Last week the three of us went to lunch in the park between students and Minnie and Oscar found the most enticing puddle, they were so disappointed that I wouldn't let them splash around!
