Improve lives and work with your dog!

We are always looking for amazing people who are as excited about the future of dog assisted learning as we are! This is a paid position, over $100 an hour - so we are looking for & paying for quality.

Main Duties:

  • Encouraging learning with the help of your AAI* dog with clients K-12.
  • Work towards the clients learning goals using your AAI Dog
  • Follow the curriculum (and own lesson plans) in a constructive & flexible manner
  • Manage various personalities, abilities and learning styles
  • Maintain safe and ethical standards with your AAI Dog
  • Report weekly on the individual and/or groups progress

You will need:

  • qualifications and experience in the allied health or education sector
  • Animal Assisted Therapy certification (or ability to commit to obtaining certification through our 'Pathway to Employment course.
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Drivers Licence
  • Current Working With Children Check & Police check
  • to be fully COVID vaccinated

  • Managing people and dogs safely
  • An engaging and effective approach to addressing the learning goals

Pathway to Employment

If you apply for a tutor position with us and are successful in the interview process but do not hold an AAT certification with your dog, you can either apply for our 'Pathway to Employment' learning series.

Or if you would prefer an independent certification - The institution that we highly recommend is Lead the Way Institute.
