School Program Tutor
Mandy has a background in social work and has completed a masters of Business Coaching and has an Animal Assisted Therapy (AAT) trained dog.
Mandy has worked in the welfare community sector for 11 years at Anglicare and Neami National working within mental health, homelessness, disability services, and foster care. Mandy has a passion for early intervention and making a difference to other people.
Mandy's years of experience saw her wanting to have more tools and interventions which then lead her to the world of AAT, where in 2012, she and her best friend Rubi (Spoodle) started their next journey in life together. Mandy is also an awesome mum to a beautiful 22 month old boy who has changed her world for the better in so many ways.
Mandy believes in AAT and sees positive change and reward in offering it as a technique and tool to clients individually and in groups. Mandy is passionate about working with people and appreciates the stories and rewards she sees along the way.
Mandy is excited about Canine Comprehension's vision and mission and feels extremely grateful and hopeful to walk alongside and see it grow and bring change to people's lives; both dogs and humans.
