Costs

$244.00 per session (inc. GST)

Cancellation - We understand that there are times when the young person may miss an appointment due to emergencies or other obligations.  Canine Comprehension requires a minimum of 24 hours' notice.  Total fees will apply if the appointment is not cancelled within this time frame.

Late arrival - If a student arrives more than 30 minutes late, the session will be forfeited and charged.

Our bookings are ongoing to build a trusting relationship with our clients and provide maximum benefit from our sessions. To cease services, email admin@caninecomprehension.com.au , giving 24 hrs notice

Clients who wish to re-engage with our services will be placed on our waiting list, subject to mentor availability.  We cannot promise that mentoring will commence immediately or be allocated at the same time and day previously scheduled.

Canine Comprehension is a registered NDIS provider under Section 73E of the National Disability Insurance Scheme Act 2013 and is recognised by the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA) for meeting high standards in quality, experience, qualifications, and competency. Our registration lets us expand our online visibility through the NDIS Provider Finder on the Myplace provider portal. It gives us access to essential training modules from the NDIS Commission, ensuring we remain at the forefront of service provision in our field.

The NDIS Code of Conduct

The Code of Conduct requires Canine Comprehension staff to:

  • act with respect for individual rights to freedom of expression, self-determination, and decision-making by relevant laws and conventions
  • respect the privacy of people with disability
  • provide support and services safely and competently with care and skill
  • act with integrity, honesty, and transparency
  • promptly take steps to raise and act on concerns about matters that might have an impact on the quality and safety of support provided to people with disability
  • take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to all forms of violence, exploitation, neglect, and abuse of people with disability
  • take all reasonable steps to prevent and respond to sexual misconduct.
