Aashima

Aashima is an enthusiastic and warm student doctor studying at The University of Melbourne. She has a passion for education, mentorship and always stopping to smell the roses. Originating from a non-academic family, learning did not always come easy to her and she had serious doubts about her own academic capabilities for much of her school life. A defining moment in Aashima's childhood was when a tutor she respected told her they thought that she was smart enough to become a doctor, which is something she had never considered as a realistic option until someone showed faith in her.

Aashima's undergraduate degree is in Biomedical Science from which she graduated with first class honors. She is a long time volunteer for Harm Reduction Victoria where I have gained extensive experience looking after the health and safety of young people experiencing acute mental health crises. She has also volunteered at St Johns Ambulance providing first aid at everything from school sporting events to areena shows.

She feels humbled to be in a position as a tutor with Canine Comprehension where she can pass on support & encouragement to children, whatever their dreams may be.

Daisy

Daisy

Daisy is a gentle and loving part-coloured toy spoodle (cocker spaniel x toy poodle). Her family includes her humans and her little sister, Willow the schnoodle (schnauzer x poodle) who is also essentially her shadow.

She’s a social butterfly who enjoys making the time to meet and greet everyone in the room and squeeze her way into their hearts. Daisy is a lady of leisure. She enjoys relaxing on the couch with a good book and a head scratch. Don’t underestimate her athletic abilities though, she loves a good obstacle course and has impressive elegance when put through her paces.
